This music stand is of solid Rosewood construction and has adjustable height and tilt. It is designed by The Early Music Shop of Bradford England. The stand opens to a full height of 52 inches to the top of the music rack or can be lowered to a closed height of 41 inches measuring to the top of the book rest. At its lowest position measure 28" from the bottom of the floor to the bottom of the shelf. The base is 19 inches on a side carved with three beautiful claw feet to support the fully carved pillar. The music rack is decorated with a stylized lyre of rosewood and brass. The music rack is approximately 20 inches wide by 12.5 inches tall.

This frog is 5.5 inches along the ridges, from the tip of his chin to his tail; and 3 inches tall. Hold him in the palm of your hand, so he faces the same direction you do. To make hip chirp, rub the wooden plectrum over the ridges on his back. It’s important that you rub from tail to head. If you want to make him ribb-it, rub the plectrum from tail to head and then back down a couple ridges; all in one fluid motion. Now you can change the tone of the rib-it by covering and uncovering the holes at each side of his smile. Hold him nice, don’t let him hop away!

Thumb Piano, Large (Item Code: THMP) Rosewood thumb piano, 5" x 7", 17 steel keys and two vibrato holes on the back.The thumb piano originates in Africa. It is also known as the mbira or likembe. The metal keys are mounted on a wooden box that acts as the resonating chamber.To play, rest the thumb piano on the fingers of both hands and hold it between your palms. Cover the vibrato holes with your fingers. Then pluck the keys with your thumbs. As you play you can un-cover and cover the vibrato holes as you like. Many different tunings are acceptable, according to personal preference. Specific tuning of a thumb piano is only an issue when two instruments are played together; then they should generally agree in tuning. Otherwise, the tuning is subjective and should only be pleasing to the player.The longer keys have lower pitches and shorter keys have higher pitches. The keys can be adjusted by tapping them in or out to adjust their length, and therefore their pitch.
