BLEMISHED This mountain dulcimer is constructed of solid rosewood sides, back, peg box, and fret board in the classic hour-glass shape. The European spruce soundboard has attractive heart shaped sound-holes. There are 18 frets (yes it does have the 6 1/2 and the 13 1/2 frets) and 4 steel strings with Der Jung mechanical gear tuners with a 1:14 ratio. Many tunings will work, but we recommend the traditional DAD to make it easy to pick up and play. Includes pick and slide. Fret board is 1.25 inches wide, Nut to bridge is 25 3/16 inches.
Over all dimensions: L 33 x , W 7.5 x H (including bridge) 3.25 inches, the depth of the body without the bridge is 2 inches.
