Oud, Egyptian, Classic 12 String with Nylon Gig Bag (Item Code: OUDEBN) This oud has the classic tear-drop shape. The bowl and neck stave construction is accented with alternating dark and light hard woods. It is traditionally played with 11 strings, but comes strung with 12. You can remove the 12th lowest string.

The three round sound holes are trimmed with faux mother of pearl inlay. The soundboard has a light finish. The bridge is fixed. The nut to bridge measures approximately 23.6 inches, 600 mm. This is a beautiful instrument. Over all dimensions are approximately 34 x 14.5 x 7.5 inches. Includes nylon gig bag with pick.
