Gharwali Tribal Dhol, Copper body with rope tuned goatskin heads. 16.5 inches tall by 15 inches in diameter. This two headed drum comes from the north Indian mountainous region of Gharwal. Both sides of the drum have goatskin heads of the same size. Tuning with unequal tension gives the two heads differing pitches, one higher and one lower. The drum is played with two beaters.
